February-March 2000, a group (mostly from Meckville Mennonite Church)
went to Guatemala to help build an addition to the K'ekchi' Mennonite Education
Center "Bezaleel" in San Juan Chalmeco, Guatemala, Central America. |
| We
became interested in this project because Carrie Wright Meyer and her husband
Kevin are missionaries based in San Pedro Carcha'. Kevin works at the school,
and Carrie is a nurse at the clinic. Some of us grew up with Carrie, and
were interested in helping in a short term mission. |
